Good results IBOP tests last week
Friday the 8th of november, we took four mares to the IBOP in Brummen.
No fewer than three of these mares are owned by Bart Derksen in Steenderen, with only the Uricas daughter Roosmarijn Viola CMS (by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve) not bred by him but by Marijn Soetekouw from Marienheem.
Her excellent performance was rewarded with a score of 79 points, including an 8 for her reflexes, technique, canter, attitude, and aptitude. This earned her the title of elite mare.
Rezy Viola (Liverpool x Kojak) received a total of 76 points, including an 8 for reflexes, technique, and attitude, and was also declared elite.
The third mare owned by Bart Derksen, Rixy Viola (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Lux), was awarded the ster title. She received 7.5 for nearly all components, resulting in a solid 75 points.
Romania JB (Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve x Contender), bred and registered by J. Bardoel from Maashees, had previously scored 80/70 at the studbook inspection, and we had a lot of confidence in this mare. That confidence was justified, as she earned 77.5 points, including an 8 for reflexes, technique, and attitude.
After the jumping horses on Friday, it was the turn of the Gelder mare Palmyra N.G. (Imposantos x Elegant) on Saturday at the IBOP for Gelder horses. The mare, bred by G.R. Prinsen and owned by Gerdine van der Spek, showcased her best under Miquel Bakker. She received scores of eight for her canter, posture, and aptitude as a dressage horse. In jumping as well, she impressed the jury, earning eights for her attitude and rideability. She was thus awarded the elite status with an impressive 77.5 points!
Congratulations to all the owners and breeders, and many thanks to Miquel Bakker for his excellent training and skilled presentation of these horses.
