Finishing Touch Wareslage x Indoctro

As a three-year-old, Red Moon was one of the most striking stallions at the KWPN Stallion Inspection. The stunning chestnut impressed the judges with his free-jumping, showing exceptional scope, effort, and technique. He was invited to the performance test, which he completed at the end of 2025 with great distinction. He was praised for his attitude and willingness to work. Red Moon possesses a well-balanced canter and excels at changes. He has quick reflexes, jumps upward, demonstrates significant scope, and is careful in his technique.

His sire is Finishing Touch Wareslage, who competed at the very highest level with Juuly Jÿlas. Together, they were placed multiple times on the Global Champions Tour and represented their country at both European and World Championships. The dam of Finishing Touch also competed at the top level, earning an amateur silver medal at the Asian Games, reflecting her excellent temperament.

Red Moon’s dam line traces back to the influential stallion Indoctro, who has produced an impressive list of 1.60m show jumpers, including Maddock, Minka’s Diamond, Mustique, Patrick VII, Picolien Zeldenrust, Sr. Doctro, Tavanta, Tyson, Ultimate VDL, VDL Montreal, and Youp. Another 1.60m horse by Indoctro is the KWPN-approved Nassau, who, under Jeroen Dubbeldam, won both individual and team bronze at the European Championships in San Patrignano.

Nassau comes from the same dam line as Red Moon. Red Moon’s granddam, the mare Regina (v. Kojak), is a half-sister to Nassau and produced the sport horses Hagedoorn (1.45m) and Everton (1.40m). Through the dam line of Regina and Nassau, the lineage traces back to the mare Jolanda, who had a remarkable influence on breeding in her time. She produced two offspring competing at 1.60m, one at 1.50m, two at 1.40m, and a Grand Prix dressage horse – all achieved without embryo transfer!
