Finishing Touch Wareslage x Indoctro

The three-year-old Red Moon was one of the most remarkable stallions during the recent KWPN stallion inspection. The beautiful chestnut caught the eye of the judges with his free jumping, showcasing a lot of power, commitment, and technique.

His father is Finishing Touch Wareslage, who performed at the highest level with the Finnish rider Juuly Jÿlas. Together, they were placed multiple times during the Global Champions Tour and represented their country in European and World Championships. Additionally, Finishing Touch's mother competed at the highest level, winning silver at the Asian Games with an amateur rider, which speaks volumes about her attitude. Red Moon's dam is descended from the influential stallion Indoctro. This stallion has produced a whole host of 1.60-meter horses such as Maddock, Minka’s Diamond, Mustique, Patrick VII, Picolien Zeldenrust, Sr. Doctro, Tavanta, Tyson, Ultimate VDL, VDL Montreal, and Youp. Another 1.60m horse by Indoctro is the KWPN-approved Nassau, who, ridden by Jeroen Dubbeldam, won bronze at the European Championship in San Patrignano both individually and with the team.

This Nassau is bred from the same dam line as Red Moon. Red Moon's grandmother, the mare Regina (by Kojak), is a half-sister of Nassau. Regina produced the sport horses Hagedoorn (1.45m) and Everton (1.40m). Through the dam line of Regina and Nassau, the lineage traces back to the mare Jolanda, who had a significant influence on breeding during her time, with no less than 2 offspring at 1.60m level, one at 1.50m, two at 1.40m, and a Grand Prix dressage horse, all without embryo transplantation!

The talented Red Moon will present himself for the performance test this autumn. We have great confidence in this fine stallion, who is eager to work and has a very pleasant personality!
