Qupido is a very complete stallion and could be extremely valuable to your breeding program.

On father’s side we see Cicero van Paemel (by Carthago Z x Randel Z), who achieved many victories at several Grand Prix's with Dirk Demeersman. Cicero, bred from a family full of sport, seems just as successful as a sire. He is father of many 1.60 horses, such as Ciska van Paemel, Fenia van Klapscheut, Izzy by Picobello and Gitania V.G., and several studbooks have approved his offspring as sires.

The combination of this incredible sire with the strong damline of Daloubette van de Krekebeke is what makes Qupido very interesting. Daloubette van de Krekebeke was successful at Grand Prix level with Julie de Pelsmaeker and Michelle de Raedt. As a descendent of Baloubet du Rouet and Heartbreaker on mother’s side, she had the mentality to go trough fire for her riders. Amongst her first offspring are rising stars Juventus van het Blauwhof (by Berlin) who jumps 1.40, and Jaloubet van de Oosthoeve (also by Berlin) who jumps 1.60. Yet another son, Pocket Rocket (by Kannan), is BWP approved and is an outstanding talent in the young horses competitions. Daloubette's half-sister jumps at 1.45 and a brother at 1.40 level. Furthermore, the 1.60 horse Wind I LS who is successful in the Nations Cup for Mexico, comes from this same damline, as well as the approved stallion Diabeau van de Heffinck (1.45 level) and the 1.60 horses Nithard, Ulysses van de Krekebeke and Valentino.

Qupido, equipped with the qualities of this strong damline, showed off his scope, reflexes and carefulness at the stallion competition. A stallion who, as Niels Bruynseels puts it, “is ahead of his peers because of his intelligence and natural talent’. Meanwhile, Niels Bruynseels has taken the reins of Qupido himself, and the first impressive results at the 1.40 level have already been achieved.
